China's coal output hit a fresh record in November as Beijing continued to urge miners to ramp up production to ensure sufficient energy supplies in the winter heating season. China, the world's biggest coal miner and consumer, produced 370.84 million tonnes of the dirty fossil fuel last month, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Wednesday. That compares to previous record of 357.09 million tonnes set in October and was up 4.6 per cent from the same period last year.
