Coal India production up 14% on year in April-February, may cross 700 million-tonne aim FY23

Coal India Ltd has posted a 14.3% year-on-year increase in production till February in the ongoing financial year at 619.7 million tonnes, in line with the target set by the company.

“With a quantum gain of 77.3 million tonnes CIL is well on its way to breach the production target of 700 MTs of FY23,” the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

All the subsidiaries of the state-owned company have logged growth over previous year, it added.
