Coal is the ‘cheapest form of energy’

Agenda C Managing Strategy and Policy Director Parnell Palme McGuinness has claimed coal is the “cheapest form of energy”.

Nationals MP Keith Pitt is quitting politics, but not before strongly criticising leader David Littleproud.

Mr Pitt accuses the party leader of being too obedient to Peter Dutton's Liberals ahead of the election.

“Keith Pitt has always been a conviction politician, and you really have to credit him with that,” Ms McGuinness told Sky News Australia.

“What he is talking about is he believes firmly – and the data backs him up – that coal is the cheapest form of energy.”
