The review meeting,
chaired by Additional Secretary and Nominated Authority Rupinder Brar, covered
64 operational coal blocks and 63 non-operational blocks nearing production
stages across states including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand,
Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, and West Bengal.

Delhi: The ministry of coal conducted a review of 127 coal blocks on November
13 and 14, focusing on strengthening India's energy security and supporting the
vision of a developed India. The review meeting, chaired by Additional
Secretary and Nominated Authority Rupinder Brar, covered 64 operational coal
blocks and 63 non-operational blocks nearing production stages across states
including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh,
Maharashtra, Odisha, and West Bengal.
