Delhi: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has issued the Notification
of Award (NOA) to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for the Engineering,
Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for its 2x800 MW Koderma Thermal
Power Station (TPS) Phase II. The announcement, made on November 14, marks a
significant milestone in DVC’s efforts to enhance its power generation
capacity.

This project is set to play a crucial role in meeting the rising
energy demands of the region, contributing to its integrated socio-economic
development. With the planned addition of 1,600 MW, DVC's generation capacity
will be significantly bolstered, enabling the company to advance its mission of
