Indonesia to produce around 700 mt of coal in 2023 to fulfill supply

has targeted to raise its coal production to 694 million tonne (mt) to fulfill
domestic supply and export demands.
In 2022, the country targeted to produce 663 mt of coal, and as
of now the production has reached 94.6 per cent, or around 627 mt. In the
coming year, the country’s domestic needs will be increasing, mostly for
electricity.
