NCL surpasses target of coal production

Prayagraj: NCL has surpassed its target for the financial year 2023-24 by producing 136.15 million tons of coal, exceeding its target of 135 million tons, said CMD, National Coal Limited (NCL), B Sai Rama.
In the same period, the NCL dispatched 137.63 million tons of coal. Talking to the media along with the board of directors (BoD), the CMD said that the NCL achieved a record for coal dispatch of 513.6 million cubic meters, surpassing 500 million cubic meters for the first time in ash removal in financial year (FY) 2023-24.
NCL has also contributed to ‘Powering Homes’ and has been establishing solar energy plants towards becoming a net-zero energy company.
