Richards Bay Coal Terminal, one of the world’s greatest coal export ports, said it’s operating as normal despite heavy rains in the KwaZulu-Natal province where it is found. The terminal, possessed by organizations including Glencore Plc and Exxaro Resources Ltd., operates close by other bulk terminals owned by the government’s Transnet SOC Ltd. Transnet on Tuesday said those terminals were operating at limited limit. Durban port, which is south of Richards Bay, was shut after the heaviest rains in no less than sixty years.
