08 Apr 2022

Backed by the Centre’s vision to reduce imported coal and substitute it with quality domestic coal, Australian mining equipment manufacturer, Real Time Instruments (RTI) which is the producer of elemental analyzers is looking to have an order book of around 20-25 units of analyzers every year in India, according to a company official.

Recently RTI has supplied 4 analyzer machines to Coal India subsidiaries Northern Coalfields (NCL) and Mahanadi Coalfields (MCL), which will be operational in the next couple of months.

“We measure the elemental composition of cement, coal and most minerals. Our technologies analyse moisture content in materials. We also measure the ash content in coal,” said Sanchit Oberoi, Regional Sales Manager- Asia Pacific, RTI during the sidelines of 9th International Mining, Equipment Minerals & Metals Exhibition.

The company already had an order book of around 30 units in India, which includes 18 units of analyzer machines at 5 plants of NTPC.

RTI is an Australian based company specialising in on-line elemental and moisture analysis of bulk materials providing operators with process data to make pro-active real-time control decisions to improve plant efficiency and bottom-line profitability.
