RTI eyes to sell 25 analyzers ever year in India

Backed by the Centre’s vision to reduce imported coal and
substitute it with quality domestic coal, Australian mining equipment
manufacturer, Real Time Instruments (RTI) which is the producer of elemental
analyzers is looking to have an order book of around 20-25 units of analyzers
every year in India, according to a company official.
Recently RTI has supplied 4 analyzer
machines to Coal India subsidiaries Northern Coalfields (NCL) and Mahanadi
Coalfields (MCL), which will be operational in the next couple of months.
“We measure the elemental composition
of cement, coal and most minerals. Our technologies analyse moisture content in
materials. We also measure the ash content in coal,” said Sanchit Oberoi,
Regional Sales Manager- Asia Pacific, RTI during the sidelines of 9th
International Mining, Equipment Minerals & Metals Exhibition.
The company already had an order book
of around 30 units in India, which includes 18 units of analyzer machines at 5
plants of NTPC.
RTI is an Australian based company
specialising in on-line elemental and moisture analysis of bulk materials
providing operators with process data to make pro-active real-time control
decisions to improve plant efficiency and bottom-line profitability.
