Vanguard Group Acquires Stake in Whitehaven Coal

Vanguard Group has become a substantial shareholder in Whitehaven Coal Limited, acquiring a 5.023% voting power through 42,018,870 ordinary shares. The group, known for managing various mutual funds and accounts, gained this position on July 26, 2024, and holds the power to dispose of these shares. Registered holders of the shares include Brown Brothers Harriman, BNY Mellon, JP Morgan Chase Bank, and State Street Bank and Trust Company.
